About Me
I’m Ali — a freelance graphic designer and web builder based in Ontario, Canada, with 10 years of experience and a background that’s anything but straight-line. Before design, I spent 15 years in film and television production in Toronto, which taught me how to manage complexity, meet impossible deadlines, and stay calm when everything is on fire. Those skills translate surprisingly well to client work.
I have a diploma in Graphic Design and a degree in Business Administration — which means I think about design strategically, not just aesthetically. I work with small businesses, associations, and creative organizations to build websites, manage social media, design newsletters, lay out publications, and generally make things look like they were made with intention. Because they were.
I’m also the founder of Creative Geek Design, an Etsy shop offering affordable digital tools and templates for small business owners who want to look professional without hiring a designer full time.
I work remotely with clients across Canada. I won’t need to be chased.
